In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026, the Green-August Humanitarian Foundation made a bold statement in support of women’s economic empowerment by awarding ₦1,000,000 in business grants to outstanding female entrepreneurs.
The empowerment initiative took place during The Big Meet Business Summit, organized by Calabar Mums, on March 27, 2026, under the inspiring theme: “Building Beyond You.”

The grant competition spotlighted innovative, resilient, and growth-driven women entrepreneurs who pitched their business ideas before a live audience and panel.
At the end of the highly competitive session:
• 🥇 ₦500,000 was awarded to the best business pitch

• 🥉 ₦200,000 was presented to the third-place winner
